Summary

Today's installment of this shark-packed series is an underwater diver's suit!
The top latch can swing open, as does the front hatch. A few parts rotate, too. Be forewarned that the joints aren't yet perfect, so some scrapping and glue may need to be involved.
Enjoy!

Instructions

I printed the suit file with support, but the parts file does not need it. I also used rafts on all of my prints.

looks great printing the small parts....round handle got damage........ could you please put the parts one at the time so i could select the damage one and make it right????? tnx

Hi everyone. Need some help. I'm trying to print this helmet, but i wanted to print it smaller and the slicer cannot hold with this huge size!
Does anyone have a smaller version, that could send me? I've tried to decrease the size in blender but it still puts out an huge file.

Thanks!

This is not working in Slic3r for me. It crashes.

Did anyone else have a problem opening this in Makerware or slicing it?

I tried printing, and the back delaminated after two hours. Spaghetti. I was really looking forward to putting this in my fish tank.

Just tried to print the Helmet again without rafts or supports and a new Kapton tape film. The back section delaminated after just a few minutes. The rear section of the helmet has a smaller foot print than the front and I believe that is the problem. I rotated the object 180 degrees, added rafts and re-sliced with the file and tried again. The print has been running about 1/2 hour and so far no spaghetti.

After over 6 hours of printing, yesterday, the segment that was printing at the rear of the platform delaminated from the platform. I found a pile of spaghetti. I will try again today with a new sheet of kapton tape. I was printing with rafts and supports. I think I will get better adhesion without the rafts and from what did print it looks like the supports are not needed.

How do you download from this new thingiverse format? where do i go to find the stl?

Did anyone print this successfully without supports? Mine turned into spaghetti.

in the process of printing one myself with a dual replicator! so far so good!

Paint it in copper :)

would make a nice birdhouse, just sayin..

Needs a banana for scale...

That's called a helmet, not a suit.

Awesome...as always!

Makes me want some gold ABS
