Description
I'm modeling the frostruder design in openscad and created a model of the syringe along the way. Its probably printable, but whether or not its usable is TBD. The plunger is also a bit too tall for a makerbot, easily fixable in openscad though.

view allCool. Last year I've used this principle for printing chocolate. I ended up doing it by hand with my syringe toolhead, though, because of an unrelated (bot) problem. Also, the drive mechanism wasn't very well thought out.
Anyway, for making the syringe completely printable as well: with a hexagonal cross section it might be printable on its side. That way the layers of the plunger and syringe might slide better. Then again, syringes are really cheap, and you need a fine extrusion tip (needle) anyway. The needle might be a bit long though and cause excessive shrinking.
