Description

This is a toilet paper holder. You can use it to hold toilet paper. This is a good thing to have for when you have toilet paper, but nothing to hold it with.

Instructions

This is a snap design so there's no need for springs.

Screw tp_left and tp_right into the wall side by side. tp_bar snaps in from the top.

To prevent the piece from breaking at the layers I used 3 shells. This is probably overkill.

You might need to drill out the holes a little, they ended up printing a bit smaller than I would have liked; I'll make a revision. Next time I'll probably also throw in a little recessed channel for the tp_bar to slide into so that it's easy to find the snap hole.

The 1 print tp file has an issue. Download 1 print tp (fixed) for the Replicator.

Awesome. I had some trouble with the 1print tp.stl. It looks like the tp holder is a couple mm above the platform. Also, could you post just the holder as an .stl? Thanks!

Oh wow, you're so right! I'll fix that up right now and also upload the 1 piece holder.

Nice design! I'd like to print it!

Do you still have the one-piece file? (rod separate) Not everyone will need to split it (e.g. for an Ultimaker you'd be able to print this at once).

Sure, I'll upload it now. I did design it for ABS plastic though; I've still never worked with PLA. Can you bend it slightly without breaking it? It kind of needs a little bit of give so that it can make the snap.

I made the screw holes a little bigger and made a snap guide on the inside.
