Just finished printing one. Love it! I want to try and separate cogs from frame so this can be printed in two colors using duel-extrusion on a Replicator.

I started making another to see if I could improve the quality by slowing it down by half. The print conked out for filament feed-reasons while not being babysat, but the parts extracted looked much, much better.

Yes, it will take about 11 hours, and make sure you have a nice, continuous feed unless you have a TOM babysitter.

It took just over 4 hours 45 minutes to print. Had some hiccups with the lower teeth on a couple of gears but otherwise mission accomplished! It looks like a piece of architecture all safely bundled up in scaffolding! :)

Seems like this could be done in parts

That doesn't seem to be any fun :-P

Please kind sir, what settings do you have in the support section? I have the exact setup, ok not the beautiful clear bot but...TOM MK7 and that same color PLA. I just don't understand support. How long did it take?

I honestly don't know how to tweak the support settings. An engineer at MBI once tweaked them for the MK6+. I'm frankly scared of at least two-thirds of SF.

The print took over five hours at 30% fill, 0.3mm, and 30 speed. I think it would have come out better at a much slower speed, but then it could have taken 10 hours!

I am really glad you saved this from being lost because of one idiots remarks. But it really should be attributed to the person who first uploaded it.

If I only could! When I looked for it to make a "modification" it had vanished overnight.

Let me know the deets, and I'll put it in the notes.
