This is a replacement visor clip, specifically for a 2003 Dodge Neon, however, it may do for other Years/Makes/Models with minor adjustments. Shown in the images are the broken clip sitting on a table and the printed replacement installed.

The broken clip image shows the result of a few rough pulls on the original, the hook is sheared off. To compensate for this, I've split the replacement in half so the "fibers" of extruded plastic can better resist the pulling force of a moving visor.

Provided are files to print in one or two pieces (to be glued together).

Included are .stl, .igs, and .stp files, if anybody would like to make improvements.

This item was printed on a Makergear Prusa Mendel.

Just bought an '05 Grand Voyager and both clips are busted. Pulled mine out to start modeling in OpenSCAD and thought I would check here instead..

Will see how these go in Grey ABS

I printed out a split set as I'd figure they would be stronger due to the layer direction at the stress point.. other than being a little undersize they work great.
I will be trying another set at 111% to match my existing clips dimensions (and cover those dents in the roof lining)
Note I think my vehicle is also known as the Dodge Caravan in the states...

I made one of these, but I noticed this week that it was no longer clipping. After removing and examining it, I discovered that the PLA had softened from the heat enough to the clip to deform and the mounting bracket to sag. If you make one of these, be sure to use ABS instead.

Yup. Same exact issue - I had to reprint in ABS.

So sad. Timing is everything. I needed these for six years until I totaled my chrysler last month. :'(

I am going to have to try this.

both my clips are broken on my 98 caravan

Thanks for the comment! I hope your print works out.
