LockBox by wizard23 Dec 4, 2009

Description

A box that screws in a zigzag way. Python generated OpenSCAD model.

Since OpenSCAD does not support variable reassignment and recursion I wrote some python glue code to generate OpenSCAD models.

Now we can haz Turing Complete Models :)

There is an improved version of this available: thingiverse.com/thing:1414

Instructions

To change the height or the twists of the box change the parameters in lockbox.py

Then run lockbox.py to generate the scad code. Pipe the result to a file and open it with OpenSCAD. Tip: Use the F4 button (instead of F5) to reload the file from disk instead from the text editor when looking at generated models.

to change the basic shape modify the dxf file
