Description
Inspired by thingiverse.com/thing:9313 and thingiverse.com/thing:7278 I wanted to create my own camera rig using OpenSCAD, since the original would not necessarily work with the dimensions of vitamins easily available to me. Using thingiverse.com/thing:6894 got me started with the hard part, getting the proper gears.
Default dimensions are designed for a Manfrotto quick release plate and a Canon 50mm/F1.4.
I love rapid prototyping, this was stupefyingly easy to design. Just had to fix some minor quirks related to printing. First blood has been drawn, expect more.

Instructions
Print, clean and make sure everything is snug.
There's not really many ways to assemble this so if you're even considering printing it you can probably figure it out. The spacer is used to keep the focus wheel from touching the mount.
I got my bearings from the local sports shop.

Which Manfrotto quick release plate(s) is it compatible with? They have a list here: http://www.manfrotto.com/searc...

As far as I can tell it is compatible with anything 200pl-ish.
