Raktajino Mug (Replimat)
Description
On every other episode of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine anyone sitting at the Replimat is always holding a cup of replicated Klingon coffee in this blue mug. (not to be confused with the purple one used in Quark's which I'll try making later because it's a little more complex) Since I started re-watching DS9 on Netflix, I kept seeing this mug and thought it would be a good excuse to try making something with Sketchup for a change.

I wasn't too happy with the quality of the mug so I also uploaded a smooth version that I loaded into Blender and decimated/subsurface divisioned a few times then used Meshmixer to smooth it some more.

Instructions
Hopefully the handle will not need support.
Also, it is not to scale, a little too small. Did Klingon's make Espresso?
Also Also - disclaimer, don't drink out of printed plastic cups. This is for entertainment purposes only. Do not try this at home. Void where prohibited. Etc.

These were sold as "commuter mugs" in the early 1980s, before all cars came with cup holders, and we were still living with Captain Kirk in reruns. They are heavy and awkward to use, and it's easy to spill while sipping, but they are pretty stable on the floor or dash, and that made them worth the trouble. But that's just reminiscing.
If someone wants to improve on this design - perhaps to print in glazed ceramic - I'd say from experience, start with the handle. Make it so it gives better leverage, allowing fine wrist and finger control, at a natural angle - because drinking and driving with one of these beasts is way more crit
ical than with today's lidded coffee shop sippy cups.
