A somewhat wooden box by langfordw Dec 24, 2009

Description

I made this as a little present for someone.

I still had a few pieces of the lasercut scrap wood from my internship at Makerbot Industries over the summer and I liked the black/wood aesthetic of my wall clock thingiverse.com/thing:834 so I decided to make a box with the same stuff.

This is one of the few things on thingiverse that combines 3D printing with usual materials, and with a very nice look!

very cool modular building system.

Instructions

Print four of the angle brackets.
Cut the wood panels exactly (or as close as possible) in half.
Slot everything together.

You can glue it if you want but it's not really necessary.

I also put little felt feet on the bottom so that it sits nicely.
