Description
Have updated my Codex to make it a little tighter as the last one was a little loose.
Why make one? For this Christmas I have been stuck as to what to buy my Father. He is into boats and sailing so I thought I would give him some money. Rather then be boring I will make it a challenge to get to it :)
If anyone is interested here is the riddle I made for it:
My first is in Santa and also in Man,
My second's in Star and also in Plan,
My third is in Give but not in Tree,
My forth in Awake and also Beardy,
My fifth is in Sleigh and also in Lights,
I will defend you in freshly pressed whites.
What am I?

The yellow, orange, red and purple are from Faberdashery. The black and clear from Mendel Parts.

Instructions
Print out the core plate.
Then 5 rings. I left it as a single so you can choose multiple colours if you wanted!
Glue the knobs to the lid and the base (bit with the spines).
Print off the letters and stick on rings (see previous model for SVG).
Put rings onto smooth outer shaft and glue lid onto end.
Line up correct word and insert the central shaft (with present in).
Jumble up letters!
