Great job! What software(s) and time length did you need for this? Andrew (http://3dhacker.com3dhacker.com)

Blender 2.66a. 3-4 hours (with distractions). Printed with RepRapPro Mendel. 0.5mm nozzle. 0.3 layer height. Each piece was printed separately. Pawn 1 hour, Queen & King 1h 45min, Bishop & Rook 1h 30min, Knight (with supports) 1h 45min (each). I haven't sliced the full plate yet.

Righto. Appreciate the work you have put into this! Andrew (http://3dhacker.com3dhacker.com)

I'm looking at the Knight and I'm thinking that you had to print with supports?

Yes. Along with the King's crown, to get the cross to be supported.

Great Idea !! Congratulations !!

Man, I wish I had thought of that! It's beautiful!

Love it, but I think we really need a more feminine queen...

Yup, all the ideas I've had are officially done now.
