Summary

It was my 3rd Anniversary and I had to try and 3D print some roses for my wife. I found this great model from Thingkinlink, which needed some cleaning up as the model's petals had no thickness, and had problems slicing. Petals were thickened to 1mm.

3 sizes available, an Open large rose, a close rose, and a small close rose.

As per Smoutech suggestion, we allow for a insertion point below the flowers to insert a length of 3mm filament.

Designs are not manifold, i got strange artifacts in my rep software. Cleaned it out but it would be nice for the uploader to do this makes it more professional instead of lazy.

SERIOUSLY??? Maybe you should be a bit less LAZY and go FIX it professionally yourself??

Printed in ABS plastic on a 'solidoodle' scaled up a bit. Great design!

Great Design. I'm tring to print it on my makerbot. But everytime i want to print it the beginning is going loos on the bottom plate ? howe does that come ?

I would suggest learning English grammar so that you could express your questions better.

bouffon :p

Get a sheet of BuildTak, it's great

I would suggest getting an Airwolf 3D Printer. They come standard with a heated bed for a great stick the entire print. And they can use up to 12 different materials.

Sorry for the late reply few tips that could help
1) Print onto Blue Painter's tape.
2) Wipe abit of acetone on the tape to get the material to stick alternatively others have used abit of hairspray onto the platform as well.
3) Print with rafts turned on
4) Most importantly check that the bed is leveled at least everytime you remove the bed from the machine.

Nice. Can you make it so that you can put it onto a length of filament. Then maybe clip some leaves onto the filament. Little pot.....

great idea Smoutech, I've just updated the stl files to allow for a 3mm filament to be inserted.

Looking forward to seeing some leaves too.....
