Description
I used some PVC pipe as a spool axle and needed a removable fixture to keep the spool from shifting off the edge. I made up these parametric clips as a quick method. They are not particular strong with axial loads, just enough to do what I need them to do.
Instructions
1. Measure the inner diameter and the outer diameter of your pipe.
2. Adjust INNER_DIAMETER and OUTER_DIAMETER variables in the params.scad to your pipe size.
3. Print with replicatorg, NO raft, and in ABS plastic. I used 0% infill and 2 shells.
4. Remove thin plastic section bridging both sides of the clip.
5. Press fit onto end of PVC pipe.
