Description

This is a replacement 1911 busing wrench I made for a friend at work. The 90 degree off-set is a little more ergonomic than the aligned design that is the most common. Plus I only saw one other and thought there was some room for improvement. The ribs on the bottom of the wrench help reduce the amount of plastic necessary to make the wrench while adding rigidity. Note that this wrench will only work for military 1911 models.

Instructions

Print and enjoy your custom made 1911 wrench.

Very cool. Can't wait to print it out and test it.

I wonder about thingiverses weapons policy. The AR 15 is till up, which makes me think they have no intention of enforcing it.

I don't see where the weapons policy applies to this design it is only a tool to aid in the disassembly of a gun. It is not a weapon. It is a wrench.

Very nice. Aside from being printed and extra-cool just because of that, it's also non-marring.

Thank you. I'm glad you like the design. I works well with minimal slop. I especially like how the Thing-O-Matic printed the embossed lettering. It came out looking something like a jeweled cut.
