Multi-tone Whistle
Description
Originally, I tried to make one in Google Sketchup but the result was unprintable. Then I made a close replica in OpenSCAD, but that didn't print well and didn't make any sounds.
So, I decided to go after a design that accomplished the same thing (2-tones & pealess) but had a more printable form. It took me 8 iterations, but I finally got it :)

Great geometric looking design, works great and sounds pretty darn loud. The only problem is both chambers produce pretty much same pitch. Is it only happening on mine?
I've printed a couple of these but haven't got a working one yet. Last time I printed with 100% infill and can get a faint whistle sound (among lots of "air" sound) when blowing really hard. Suggestions?
Hmmm... Have you successfully printed any of the "classic" whistles (e.g. http://www.thingiverse.com/thi... is my fav) on Thingiverse and gotten them to work?
When I was working through the iterations, the length and angle of the little tabs at the back of the vent holes that slant down (http://www.screencast.com/t/77... proved to be rather important to getting sound. So, I wonder if something is up with how those are being printed.
Can you post
a picture, perhaps several from different angles?
Add a loop to the scad file and you'll have a kind of harmonica. :)
Couldn't resist making a two color two tone whistle. Jettys new firmware, thing 15380 makes multicolor printing by layer easy!

I get the same pitch on both sides too. Looks good in two tones anyway--I printed in red and natural PLA. Maybe it sounds different in ABS?
