Just what I needed! Thank you,

I didn't have a spring at the right size, so instead I used a nylock at the bottom, and just 2 Ø4 washers, so the "leadscrew" doesn't float top to bottom. I also used a little bit of heat to recess the 2 washers, as my M4 bolt was -just- long enough to capture the nylock. runs very smoothly and very stable. great design!

Thank You  ;-)

I don't use optical end-stops but this looks fascinating, do you have a video of it working?

No, I have no movie. What would have to show? :) You turn the knob and the decrease or increase endstop location. The scale is to help you. 1 unit = 0.05 mm. That's all. It can be any endstop, ...whatever. ;)

Since the licence of the ancestor is BY-NC-SA this should be Non Commercial too.

Of course, I'm sorry.
