Description

This is a weird barrel bushing wrench me and a friend at work developed over the course of a few weeks. The design came out of the fact that he said that with the traditional styled wrench there was a danger of the spring loaded guide tube flying out and possibly hitting you in the face. So he asked why I couldn't make him a round one. This is what we ended up with. You grip it with your palm, thus your hand is always over the spring. It works like a charm. Tell me what you guys think.

Instructions

1. Print.

2. Trim bottom internal edge of bushing hole, as it tends to flared a bit on the heated build platforms. Just make sure it flush with the internal sidewalls at the bottom.

3. Use with good common since and all proper safety.

This is fantastic. Functional, nice looking design, and does solve the problem of that spring loaded plunger. This one may turn out to be a good giveaway item for my 1911-equipped friends.

I'm glad you like it. I hope your friends enjoy.
