This is a hack off Owens cooler.
Added extra housing to cool all around printing object.
Seems to work good on my Ultimaker.

On request I can re-size for other build size of the fan.
I don't know the size of the original Ultimaker fan.

Geo Hagen

Print it as in STL file on its side.
Not an easy print to make because of the overhangs in the design.
But, even I can print it.

Stitch of fan 32 mm M3.

Have you ever thought about the integration of a LED light near the nozzle into the model?

Just added a 60 mm fan design.

Geo Hagen

The stock fan's hole spacing is the same as the long threaded rod in the extruder head. About 40mm? It'd be nice to get a fan shroud for the stock sized fan. What did you model this in?

I will make a new version with a 40 mm stitch.
It was designed with Solidworks 2012.

How is the new 40mm version coming along? I could use one. Love this design!
