Description
This is version 2. The printed part pictured was version 1. V1 had some sections that were a little too small and chunks broke off while I was cleaning up the part. V2 should solve this problem.

Dont' know why but after this built exactly half, it plunged the nozzle into a solid part and started wiggling around, I thought it was going to break my insulator retainer.
I think this thing tickles a bug in towering. I'll have to retry with towering turned off.
I calibrated my freed rate a bit better and rebuilt this with towering turned off. The spot where it died last time it has 12 towers, and as much as my machine was extruding, it is hard to say if it was a towering bug or if two neighboring towers merged.
Really cute. I'm making this on a heated platform (glass) using PLA feed at MakerBot right this second.... Am considering this as a benchmark tool for testing skeinforge settings.
Fun thing! Maybe a 3D shadow of a 4D whiffleball?
I managed to make one w/ cupcake using skeinforge6, and was amazed that the vertical holes came out as well as they did. I'd post a pic, but apparently the "All Rights Reserved" license prevents "I made one" entries.
Made it public. Please post the pic. I'd like to see how it came out.
Wow, I thought for sure the Cupcake wouldn't be able to print those vertical holes. Did you use the support feature in Skeinforge?

This would be even cooler if made into a 6 sided die somehow. i love the indented idea with this
