Summary

These are designed to replace most of the melamine pieces on the FT5; only the top pieces are kept. This design will allow you to use an e3d v6 hotend with a cooling fan and bed level sensor. I have also included parts without sensor mount and fan mount.

Will fit a 40x20 fan(maybe taller).
Made to use this sensor: https://www.amazon.com/4-8-30V-3-wire-Inductive-Proximity-Sensor/dp/B00979RA1M/ref=redir_mobile_desktop?ie=UTF8&pc_redir=T1&psc=1&redirect=true
And to use this actual E3d Mount, YOU MUST MIRROR THIS MOUNT: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1091103

Version 2: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1741653

Requires
-2x-4x m3 nuts and bolts(length will vary) for the fan in the rear
-2x m3x20 bolts with nuts for mounting fan shroud to the mount.
-2x m3x30 bolts with nuts for sensor.

Where do you wire it to on the board?

Will this fit stock Meli peices

I haven't tested it, but it should.

AWESOME JOB SIR THANK You Very Very much so greatly appreciated, I wanted to mount it on top so bad but just haven't been able to think my out of the box! I am rolling with your design Thank You again very much!!! AWESOME!!!

Made this, fits everything perfectly, nice job. I will post photo's as soon as I get the proximity sensor mounted.

Do you know the wiring for that proximity sensor on the MKS board? Thanks in advance.

assuming it's the same sensor, it should have a black, brown, and blue wire. Brown goes to +, Blue goes to -, Black is signal. I used an old plug, no resistor or anything.

Thanks, worked!

-2x-4x m3 nuts and bolts(length will vary) for the fan in the rear
