Tried it but It MESSED UP!!!! I have a makerbot replicator 2 and it didn't work.
Sort of sad. :(

Hi, I love it. You could put a groove for ease of assembly?

I need help. I cant get the trigger itself to print. Im using slic3r and I split it but it just makes everything else with no trigger. It says there are no layers detected. Also it seems to have 2 triggers there laying ontop of each other.

I modified some screws and nuts to fit the rubber band gun so you no longer have to get dowels. Just print these http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:72919http://www.thingiverse.com/thi...

Screws and nuts for the Rubber band gun simi auto

hi... any chance you could post the parts as separate files.. had a couple of the smaller pieces came loose during the print.. :)

Check out Slic3r. It has a split features which will give individual pieces from an STL like this.

This is a great design. Just a couple changes had it working very well for me. First I needed to file down certain parts of the ratchet wheel to allow the rubber bands to come free on firing. Second, a rubber band stretched between the top of the trigger piece and the escapement dowel will pull the trigger back forward for each shot.

Do you have the files for the various parts? I would love to make some small improvements.

I have built this great gun, it works well with 2 modifications. First I had to file down certain parts of the ratchet wheel to allow it to release the bands. Second, a rubber band between the top of the trigger piece and the middle dowel (inside the gun) works well as a spring to pull the trigger forward after you push it. Great design, thanks!

I dig the design. The whole trigger assembly is particularly impressive to me.

I was wondering if you could post the source files for this? I printed one out, and its sized to a child's hand ( and while I am young in spirit, i have a meat adult hand). I would also love to fit on a replicator, with barrel and grip combined.

I love the design! This will make a wonderful gift for my grandkids.

Sometime when you get a chance, could you please post the larger individual handle and barrel pieces? I'm having difficulties printing the entire thing and I have a bunch of smaller pieces but still no handle or barrel.

Thanks for this thing!
