Description

I designed this necklace to give to my girlfriend.
Hope she doesn't see it on here before I give it to her :)

I made it in blender, and for some reason couldn't get the top tube to connect to the bottom half properly, but it still printed fine.

It has a 6mm tube with 4mm hole for a chain.

I printed in PLA, which looks soo good.

I just weighed it, and its about 0.003125 pounds.
So you should be able to make 1600 of these(if my math is correct)

5Lbs is alot more than I thought before i got my first roll.

Skienforge gives you a report in CCs of how much material is used.

Based on MSDS sheets ABS is ~436 cubic centimeters per pound.

Just curious- how much material did it actually take to make this? I'm just about to get a Makerbot, and I'm trying to get an idea of how far the 5 lb coil of ABS of PLA might go. Looks great!
