Description
This is a removable clip mount for 20mm extrusions. It is used with a 3mm screw and nut to hold whatever you want to the extrusion.
Instructions
Short:
Print 4 at a time.
Use a fan or other cooling method.
Use ABS for flexibility.
Have 3mm screws, nuts, and optionally washers available.
Long:
This object has areas that will overheat if not printed with a fan or some form of cooling. You may want to print at least 4 at a time.
The clip takes a bit of effort to get onto the extrusion and it holds reasonably tight. Depending on your printer it may be looser or tighter.
If your object is larger you may want to use more than 1 clip to secure it.
I suggest you print 1 and plan on breaking it just so you can see how far it bends, how it attaches, and how to remove it. I have not broken any of the 6 I have printed in PLA so far. ABS may be better as it is more flexible.
