Hey! This thing is still a Work in Progress.
Files, instructions, and other stuff might change!
Harry Potter Glasses
Description
As my grandson needed a set in a hurry (Harry ;-?), Grandad to the rescue !
Instructions
Glasses are cut from 2.0mm craft foam (actually craft foam from the local 'pound' shop) - other brands are 'Fab Foam' here in the UK.
The wee lightning bolts are cut out from the legs - you can either leave them empty, or cut red/whatever ones as a fill-in - the fill-ins are in blue in the file - makes a nice touch - I cut them from 3mm foam so they stand out. Apologies for the rough iPhone pic, they look better in real life.
There are 1mm tags so the whole thing doesn't fall out of the sheet.
With a bit of careful juggling, you can get three sets from an A4 sheet.
File created with Adobe Illustrator, so 72dpi SVG - Inkscape is 90 dpi, so I leave it to the student to re-scale :-)
I'm unsure if the foam is PVC based, but I have cut loads of it without any detection of chlorine - YMMV so take care !
As Harry might say, 'incendio' - just the sort of thing you want to associate with lasers !
