Double Coat Hook
Description
One of the things that I'm constantly wishing I had more of are coat hooks! I have way too many hoodies and I hate leaving them on the floor. So here's my take on a coat hook. The special feature of this one is that it has 2 hooks for optimum hanging excellence.
The design was a mashup of qcad and openscad. i just couldn't get the curves quite right in openscad and I wanted something with both an angular and curved look.

(get it, there are two hooks for hanging...) :X

Nice. Printed one out last night and screwed it to the wall at work with some junqe from my bolt bucket. Beats goin' to the hardware store! I put the infill at about 0.3; seems to work fine for a light coat in Georgia's early spring.

So far I've printed 4 and broken 4. :(
25% infill isn't enough for my coat.

note: i printed this 20% infill and it ended up breaking when i was really jamming on it. i'll try and upload a stronger one later (or just print it with
&
gt;20% infill.

Sounds like it's too weak or people are used to printing with way too little infill for a thing like this.
What about making the base plate longer, so we can have some support-structure
below the hooks to support them?
It often also helps to round or tapper the sharp corners where something like your
hangers meet the base-plate to not give it a weak point where it can start breaking.
PS: I suggest to
put the intended size of bolts into the parts list.
