Summary

A Joystick for the Twitch Block http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1798009

Takes the place of the ball bearing at the end. The Gasket needs to be printed in some sort of flex filament. You can put a magnet in the end of it and one in the block if you want it to attract to the middle or how I like it oppose each other and act against you trying to center it.

I am also including a version of the block that prints in two parts - the whole stopping mid print thing was getting old when printing many of these.

Additionally is a version of the block which uses 4x2mm magnets to hold on the plates, Allows me to design new plates and swap them in and out easily.

You should put it up as a REMIX and not just leech off of someone else's work!

The joystick is totally new and was the original intent of the posting. The other files I provided purely as a courtesy to those who didn't want to deal with inserts or to use another system of attachment such as magnets. I also linked to this from the original posting and I link back to the original item in the description. I never once claimed it was all my own work. Perhaps you should dial down the agro.

It is listed as a remix as of several weeks now. Originally I planned to only put up the files for the joystick, I wish I had now as seriously all the drama is not worth the effort . The sole reason I didn't have it as a remix to start was that I couldn't figure out how to link it as a remix after I had created the thing page - turns out chrome doesn't play nicely with this site and it was not showing everything. That's the reason I created a post in the original object and also why I linked back to it in the thing description here. I've created several objects here and have seen the designs claimed as other peoples work on several sites now so I understand how annoying that can be. But the attempt at public shaming here when the same thing could have been accomplished with a private message is just some BS and discourages me from sharing future designs.

The joystick handle has a long end and a short end (that or I've screwed up the print twice now). Which end goes up?

FWIW, the joystick handle also doesn't fit into the joystick top or bottom on my prints - it's about 1mm in diameter larger than the holes in the parts.

The short end goes into the half sphere. As for the top and bottom being larger than the hole - it should be a tight fit, possibly requiring a little sanding but really not much, certainly 1mm seems too much, are you perhaps really squishing that first layer?

I did on the first print, but I adjusted the bed for the second print and got what looks to me like an accurate, un-squished print. Neither one fits. I had to widen the holes with a drill.

Not sure why that would be. I will put up a new version with a slightly larger hole later today.

The summary pretty much tells you what it is. Its an additional twitch for the Twitch Block and also some remixes on the Block itself.
