Description
Adapter to easily use iSight on conventional microscope
Instructions
Build both items, I used 20% fill for TOM+Jetty accelerated firmware V3.2
The dimensions are to suit my Bristoline Microscope, x4, x10, x40, x100 (oil immersed) with a 10x eyepiece
Probably have to sand the inside of the adapter slightly to ensure a snug but not tight, fit. Warning, if fit is too tight then top of the iSight will pop off.
I use Photo Booth on the Mac, especially useful if you go to full screen mode.
The cap is needed to cover the other eyepiece otherwise there is too much extraneous light getting in.
The image is of some dust particles using the x40 lens if you're wondering what it is! Also, if you use an external LED then it works great for top illumination of pcb's etc.
