Description

Control panel housing for Mendelmax. With a control panel like this, you can do hostless printing with the Marlin firmware.

Marlin's creator (ErikZalm) suggests changing the 644P chip to a 1284P that has 128K. They are pin identical and save for some weird memory mapping, it should work in a Sanguinololu.
Well, the main problem is that 644P only has 64K flash, Marlin with the panel code enable needs 80K+ if i remember correctly. *DONT_KNOW*
Do you have any idea how complicated would it be to adapt it to a Sanguinololu driven Prusa running on Marlin?

The chip (ATmega 644P) is actually a lot stronger than the Arduino's chip (ATmega 238P) but I am not sure the pins are all available.

Instructions

You need the following:
Click Encoder with switch X 1 - something like hk.element14.com/alps/ec12e2424407/encoder-vertical-24-det-24ppr-sw/dp/1520813
20x4 LCD display module X 1 - form ebay
Push button X 1 (reset button)
SD Card Reader X 1 - I use this one dfrobot.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=163

The Knob is form here thingiverse.com/thing:17404 I just chop off the lower half to fit the panel.
Do you have any info on how to wire everything up or a schematic? I have looked around but couldn't find anything.

What are you using with electronic display systems and electronics for him sdcard?

Not sure i understand your question.. but the main electronics is just RAMPS running Marlin firmware. Marlin has build in support for LCD/Click encoder.
