Description

ok, i designed this simple clamp setup that just snaps into place for your printer . sorry not a maker bot, but it is for rapman or for mendel printer, i think it can be modified for maker-bot if you'd like.

i need to make another one of these as the sides are too thin!

yeah, simple is better. and don't view it as a race, we are all on the same team. if you do think of it as a race, think of it as a relay race. i ran my miles, and am handing the torch on to you. its now your turn to run :) enjoy. btw I'm updating this to one at a time so it is easy to print out.

I had a similar idea, but you beat me to it. Using optocouplers and a custom PCB for something a simple as this seems like overkill to me.
