Description
A simple, light duty hammer to be printed out of ABS.
Some adjustments have been made to make this printable
(Hande somewhat to the side) and still be strong (slanted
edges the grib meets the head).
This should be fine for tent-poles and uncooperative screws
or bearings that just so fit their holes.
Keep away from nails. ;)

view allIf by light duty you mean swinging at floating soap bubbles I still disagree. The way its made, the mere act of swinging the hammer is going to place rotational forces on it, before you even strike something. Once you actually make contact, the hammer becomes a lever translating any remaining lateral motion into additional rotational motion.

Instructions
DO NOT PRINT UPRIGHT. For stability this must be on the side.
Else the handle will break too easily.
Requires 190x55mm on the print bed. (turn by 45° to save space)
PRT-file can be edited with the free Alibre Design express or 30 the full day trial. (e.g. to export imperial sizes)
If warping it too much of a problem, try less printed infill and fill it with epoxy.

Very poor design, the offset head guarantees that there will be rotational forces involved when hitting anything with it. Potentially dangerous. DO NOT PRINT AT ALL!!!

Good point.
That's where the "light duty" comes in.
Feel free to post a better one.
And feel free to show your actual face and name.
