Description

A 40x40 mm fan mount for the Prusa V2 X-carriage - heavily inspired by thingiverse.com/thing:16970 by crispy.

Update: Added parameter for specifying mounting hole distance.

Instructions

- Print
- Press four M3 nuts into the nut traps
- Mount the fan using four M3 screws
- Mount the fan mount on the extruder using two M3 washers and two M3 nuts

You would normally blow cool air - not on the extruder itself, but on the extruded material to make it cool faster.
