This is a lid with a coin slot to turn any wide or regular mouth canning/mason jar into a bank. The slot is designed for US coins, but you can tweak the slot dimensions in the scad file.
This can also be used with a canning jar as a sharps container for razor blades, and other sharps, in the shop or your bathroom.
This one was printed with ProtoParadigm's green PLA on a Makergear Mosaic.
See http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:19105 for the lid this was based on, and for links to more canning jar accessories.
This thing is a part of a collection of things featured in this post: http://www.protoparadigm.com/blog/2012/08/what-to-do-with-a-3d-printer-make-canning-jar-accessories/
Download and print, should work with standard regular or wide mouth canning jars. Clean up any really loose hairs of plastic on the threads with tweezers and you should be good to go.
