Description
If you own an X52, than this is a no brainer. The spring on the Flightstick was never very stiff to begin with, and over time it only gets worse. This will compress the spring and give the stick more resistance.
Instructions
My prints don't interfere with the sticks range of motion when I check its calibration in control panel, but your mileage may vary. Install it with the text facing rightside up. Help the spring, and base into place. It is a snug fit.

Does it do anything for that *sticking* area that you have to overcome with a lot more force to break the resistance?
I haven't experienced what you are describing on my x52. By design this will increase the resistance on the spring, so I'm not sure if it will fix your issue. It's a quick print, see if it helps.
