6) Store failures until they are a Pile of ABS Scrap
7) Take a photo and hit the "I Made One"

(who really really likes white plastic, and found a clever way to double the volume of a bin by using the cardboard box of the bin...) :)
SO... does anyone have a recycling business for the ABS plastic yet? beyond turning the stuff into glue? I have been keeping an eye on the bench top injection molding machines and it looks like you can get one that will handle 2 ounces of ABS plastic for $1200...
I have not been able to find a good price on a machine that could handle 1 lb of ABS but the machines get very scary looking beyond the benchtop side of things.
Save the "best" examples of each type of bad print and use as educational peices to explain to other users what went wrong and how to fix it. As an example I have some simple holders printed at different speeds, as you cahnge speeds you can see how quality changes and certain other errors are introduced such as missed steps, excessive lashing, poor layer to layer adhesion and so on...
Save for the inevitable creation of a filament extruder (or use for test product when making your own) is an alternative to glue.
Put it in a bottle with some acetone and you
´ll
soon get a bottle of the best ABS glue instead ;)

I think this is quite fun. I do a fair bit of prototype work and sometimes the design is not printer friendly, and I cancel it like 30% in. I have a special bin I put my failed prints in because sometimes I realize the 30% print has the 10% you needed to test the adjoining parts. So, when you go to fetch it, it's not covered in cereal.
