I wasted 4 prints figuring out the right size. I finally got the right size using scale 1.015. I am using repetier host. Hopefully this will help

how many shells and what layer height?

plz answer

At least 2 shells. I use a layer height of .2 or .1 and a infill of at least 20% :)

i have 50 infill and is like 3 shells okay or is higher better?

sry btw new to 3d printing

No problem ;) with 3 shells and 50% infill it only will be stronger! If you have more questions, please ask!

ok thx and should i do a raft btw im printing on the maker bot replicator +

I never use a raft, i always use a skirt. It prints a couple of lines around the print

I don't think the maker it has that but I can check

Then i will suggest not using one

Not using a raft or the printer?

Or a skirt?

May I have permission to sell this?

is it ok if I sell these please

hi to all people having trouble with the bearings being too big i found that if you load the stl in cura and scale the object to 1.01 instead of 1.0 it is still a tight fit like it should be hope this helps

Comments deleted.

What piece did you use in the center slot so it would spin?

a bearing :)

I 3d printed out your spinner and bought VXB ZZ double shielded bearings. But when I went to put the bearings in, they were too big, so do you think it printed wrong? I used the wrong bearings? Or do you think it was another issue?

hi i found that in cura if you scale this to 1.01 instead of just 1.0 its a tight fit still but the bearing will fit

The spinner has holes of 22 mm, exacly the same as the diameter of the bearings. I think the issue is that your printer has a bigger tollerance than it should. I had the same problem before But i used a hammer to get the bearings into the print! Try to scale the print to 100.5 or 101% this could fix it!

Shouldn't you use a nut or bolt though so it has a point to rotate around?

you don't need to! you can hold the bearing in the middle and it will spin. It's easier to use something like a bearing cap (you can download these on thingiverse to) or as you said a nut or bolt.

Ok thanks

What is the bearing reference number (608ZZ) ???

Yes! Just your average skateboard bearing :)
