60s Sofa
Description
I had this simple 1960's sofa kicking around, and I thought it might be a nice addition to TeamTeamUSA's madiverse collection. I've posted in my favorite working scale of 1:24, but you should scale by 1.5 if you intend to use with the rest of the Madiverse collection.
Instructions
Print the sofa or loveseat. Print 4 copies of the furniture leg using the multiply option in skeinforge. All of these items should print fine without a raft. Use acetone or glue to adhere legs to sofas.
A 1.5 scaled copy of the sofa will be 120mm - make sure your platform is well centered if 120mm is your max build length!

Thanks for playing along! :)
I tried to print at 1:24 scale, but MCM furniture, with it's minimal structure and mass, just won't do it.
Plus at 1:16 scale they should fit right in to this http://www.brincadada.com/prod...

For my print, it kind of messes up the outside of the holes in the couch where the legs should go into.
It does everything nice with the 2 perimeters that I have set, but the holes only get one parameter. And I don't know why. Printing it 100% with Slic3r 0.9.9 and Repetier Host on my own interpretation of a Reprap Air 2 XL.
Could be that there is an akward amount of space between - not enough room for a second thread width? So it stays blank instead. I know some of my early designs had this problem - but it might show up regardless especially if you are slicing with .5mm thread widths since I often optimize for .4mm
