Should work with a standard 3D printer, as far as I can tell (I don't have access to one) unless there's something awful going on with the file (and there very well might be).

I'd never seen those! Nice!

The idea was for the chess pieces to not look at all like the traditional design. At the same time I did not want to do something cutesy. I opted for a design which would suggest the movement of the piece. Thus, the pawn suggests the three ways of moving of pawns, the knight suggests the l-shaped moves, the bishop diagonals, etc.. I also inclined the base forwards about 6 degrees in part so that bishops
&
amp; rooks can be easily told apart.

These look they could have been injection moulded, you might want to change the design so they look like they could have only come from a 3D printer.
