Description

This chess set was inspired by my wife's love of honey bees. In the future I hope to make more things inspired by nature.

That's such a clever idea! Well conceived and executed - love the way the theme gets carried through to each piece. (The pawn as a larva - holy crap, that's just awesome.)

Well since the queen is the most mobile piece I always that it should be the king.

It would make sense that the king piece would be the queen bee because the queen hardly ever moves.

In this version of chess does that make the queen (bee) the king? :)
