Summary

It's the skull of Cubone's dead mother.
A must have for all PokeFans!

I've now uploaded a better Cubone Skull, check it out here: Cubone Skull 2

The 3D model for this originated from this wonderful site that rips Pokemon models from the various games: http://roestudios.co.uk/project/3d-pokemon-models
But then I made it 3D printer friendly!

I welcome anyone to make improvements / remixes of this.

Instructions

I printed this on a FlashForge Creator 1 (based off of the Replicator 1)
I used white ABS and sliced with these settings:

No Raft
Exterior Support (YOU MUST USE SUPPORTS WITH THIS MODEL!)
10% Infill
0.25 mm Layer height
3 Shells
40 mm/s feedrate
55 Travel feedrate
230 degree temperature.

It took about 4 hours 30 minutes with those settings.

Errr, Im super new at this and I'm going to be using my library's printer, how much does this weigh in grams? The cost is 5 cents per gram for my library, and I was really hoping to make two. ^^"

I'd recommend making this one instead: it will use a lot less filament: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:819181

I have a question! Well I own a 3d printer and have downloaded the pokemon i want to print. What program did you use to do this? Also my last question are they completely solid or are there hollow spots?

Oh, that's fine with me. The 3D model wasn't made by me originally anyways, it was made by the awesome people at Game Freak and Nintendo. I mean, the reason I posted this to Thingiverse was so that Pokemon lovers everywhere can have their very own Cubone Skull. And I don't want all those Pokemon lovers who don't have access to a 3D printer to be denied such a wonderful thing! Seeing as I have no interest in selling Cubone Skulls myself, I'm actually glad that this guy is helping to spread the skulls to Pokemon Trainers everywhere.

I love this! I seriously need to get around to buying a 3D printer.
