Description

This is Emmett's awesome screwless cube gears, all plated up for a single print on a Replicator.

Instructions

This one prints! It is not longer In Progress™.

Here are a few tips:
• Make sure you have a flat build platform. (The newer ones are swirly-reflective.) Make sure it is very very "level."
• Make sure that in Skeinforge Carve: Mesh Type is set to Unproven Mesh.
• Take a paper towel with acetone and wipe a few noodleings onto the platform, dissolving them and making a super-thin glue of ABS. This is even if you are printing in PLA.

In the zip file is all of the various OpenSCAD files needed to make this plate, gathered for your convenience. I would be rather simple to simply turn on or off some of the parts to make two STLs for dualstrusion in two different colors.

OpenSCAD oddly output an STL that is giving Skeinforge errors.

Update: I have corrected the STL (and scad file) to minimize the problems. The new files are marked with a "v2." Skeinforge will still output errors while skeining them until you change the Skeinforge settings. Change Carve: Mesh Type to Unproven Mesh and it should slice fine.

There seems to be a problem with the center piece -- no holes on the top or bottom for pegs!

I just uploaded a corrected STL and scad file to fix this problem. Also, make sure to change Change Carve: Mesh Type to Unproven Mesh in Skeinforge.
