I printed this model and it looks amazing!

Great model to print, so just had to make a timelapse of it printing (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WIjdoocH1NI)!https://www.youtube.com/watch?... :)

it kinda looks funny

This thing is awesome

Can you upload the solid model of this file? (STP, IGS, etc...)

I was unable to slice this file. Every time I go to export this file to GCODE in Slic3r it crashes.

Try to download the .OBJ file. Then fix it with Netfabb basic & export it in STL.
You should be able to create the Gcode afterwards (I used Slic3r 1.0.0rc1)

Come to the party on your Filament pricing and we might be more enthusiastic. Every plastic you sell I can source at half the price or less on Ebay.

then don't buy makerbot brand filament. bringing it up in the comments of a particular thing just makes you look like an ass.

thank you for not plastering your logo all over it :)

Ya, the price is a little, little, over priced...for sure .... I will wait and buy it from some other dealer when the price is a Little Lower...

Yeah, you guys really need to get your pricing in check. Gouging is no way to build a loyal fan base.

But you have to admit sparkly is cool.

Not even, $65 per .9 kg. Rather just get my filament from amazon (I get mine for around a third of Makerbot's price) But still, the variety on their site is hard to beat. (But Martha Stewart Filament? come on Makerbot, real colors please?) However, getting over the fact their filament is a rip-off, this is a great model.

Since we are talking about filament, LD filament is high quality, has a wide range of colors, and is cheap
