I presume that CC is your default license choice, and that's how it got onto this item?
Please would you set it to GPL? (given that it's a derivative of a GPLed work)
I'd think that thingiverse should have pointed that out to you when you declared the derivation, rather than routinely and automatically encouraging people to violate the GPL as they seem to be doing -- I presume they'd also allow/encourage me to violate CC licenses by applying the GPL by default on my derivatives if I wasn't concentrating quite hard.
