Ultimaker printhead cover
Description
Printhead cover to protect the wires on top of the Ultimaker printhead
Instructions
Print as provided. I used 0.2mm layers
The cover has tiny overhanging edges at the end that snap over the wooden plate. Once in place it sits very firmly around the printhead.
Weighs about 19 grams (printed in Cura with 25% rectangular infill and 3 solid layers)
There is just enough room to slide over the X-axis blocks

With the new extruder the printerhead is not been able to go over the wooden plate because of the height of the temperature sensor.

Just found that there is some risk that the cover damages the cloth around the heater wire :(
So take care and make sure the wire can move freely without friction against the cover!

Can you upload the original file? I need to knock out part of one side for some cable action.

I had to scale the Z-axis about 120% to fit perfect.
