Instructions

Supplies

  • Roll of 20 gauge copper wire, cut to 2 1 1/2 inch lengths
  • Printed clip
  • Wire cutters (or some other way to cut the wire)
  • Needle nose pliers (or some other way to bend the wire)
  • Pin Vice (optional)

Bend the tops of the wires to make contact terminals

Use the pin vice to clear out any extra plastic that printed inside the wire holes in the clip. If you don't have a pin vice, you can cut a 3 inch piece of wire, bend it to create a handle, and then use the wire cutters to cut some sharp edges into the tip of the wire and use that as a drill. It takes a little longer, but I've tested and it does work.

Put the pins through the clip. Make sure that the contacts extend slightly past the tips of the clip.

Use your needle nose pliers to bend the wires back, clip with the wire cutters, and then squeeze them tight with the pliers
