Summary

A quick-print gizmo to extract the last dregs of the tooth paste or paint from the tube.

Instructions

Print at fairly high solidity for strength.

SCAD source included, tweak geometry or make it more physically attractive to your taste. Scale it up for bigger tubes or to make it stronger. Shorten the slot for ointment tubes or art paints. Print in colours to match the contents. Hang tube by the holes if you like.

Needs to be about 20% bigger for Colgate toothpaste (USA) I measured the key's inner dimension at 50mm and a Colgate tube at 60mm.

I scaled it up 13% to fit a larger tube, and I gotta say my Replicator is playing some really funky bass lines! Very cool sounds going on during this print.

What is this for exactly?

For rolling up toothpaste or paint tubes to extract the contents as they become closer to empty. I guess I should post an action shot so it is more obvious how they are meant to be used?
