Description

We did this Duomo because we accepted the challenge of Dominic Wilcox: artist vs 3d printer - make the Milanese Cathedral in 90 minutes during Design Week 2012.
We print it with our Deep Pink Makerbot and he's going to craft it by hand.

I had less luck slicing. there is a hole in the roof. Also some problems with overhang on the inside of the model.
I fixed the hole in the roof and the overhang. I will print a new one when i have the time. Will upload the new file if i prints correctly.

Dear MacGiver, sorry for the errors! We are happy u succeded in printing it

I'm getting tons of these errors: "Dangling edges, will use intersecting circles to get import layer at height" errors slicing this thing. Also a bunch of the following errors:

This should never happen, there is a hole in the triangle mesh, each edge should have two faces.

[14:57:44] 687 [401] [323, 324]

[14:57:44] Something will still be printed, but there is no guarantee that it will be the correct shape.

[14:57:44] Once the gcode is saved, you should check over the layer with a z of:

[14:57:44] 27.45

I'm going to power through the errors and try to print it anyway. You'll know if I was successful if you see something show up under the "I made one" section.

poi raccontami eh!!
