Hi, I wanted to build a version with smaller motors (http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__78321__Multistar_1807_340Kv_Brushless_Gimbal_Motor_for_Mobius_Camera_EU_Warehouse_.html), 22mm instead of 28mm outer diameter. Does anyone have the sources or know how to modify the STLs for smaller motors? Thanks.

EDIT: In case any one else wants 22mm motors, my humble attempt at modifying turbis design: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1198994

Hi . I have done some alterations on this wonderful project to allow for motors with 3 mounting holes. I have printed it .. made one with blank plate so you can drill your own mounting holes .... and the Arm made a blank adapter plate to take the 3 hole mounts. will post the files shortly thank you Turbi for a great design..

Pardon the newb question, I'm new to Thingiverse.

I'd love to order one of these gimbals. Can you tell me how to go about obtaining one?

Anyone help me out with screw sizes (diameter and length), as well as motor mounting hole dimensions? turbi, it might be a good idea to add those things to the Instructions page. I don't have a hobby shop inside of 4 hours from me, so I have to order all my stuff ahead of time from HK. I don't want the wrong motors or incorrect screws. Thanks!

Thats not the motor. It dhould be an issue with vontrol board.

Hi,

What type of motors do you use?

I have mine setup with the 2206 motors but I can't get the tilt working, while the roll works perfect.

Is there ANY chance I could get you to print this out and ship to me?? Have money, want to spend!! Rather pay the creator than someone ripping him off.

Is there any chance you could supply the original solid model?
I need to make some slight adjustments, and take some measurements. I also need to import it into my own quadcopter design model to see how I will make the attachment.

@turbi mobius support (camera holder) missing the slot for button access, but in your rendering it seem to have one :)

Someone else than goodluckbuy is busy making your design and selling it, did you know about this?? http://copterlab.com/fr/nacelle-ultra-l%C3%A9g%C3%A8re-pour-cam%C3%A9ra-mobius-hdhttp://copterlab.com/fr/nacell...
On goodluckbuy you say that you can print the gimbal for 5$,is that real???Today i was gone to a 3Dprint store in town and there they ask me about 8$ for 1 file to print then the gimbal will cost me about 56$.Then if you can print it for me the whole gimbal for 5$ il will be good for me

if you print it yourself yes it will be $5 but if you ask someone else to print it for you they will charge you thier labor/time etc :)

thanks for your message, it's funny, I'll contact goodluckbuy/

similar case in the last few weeks, another RC company, stole a case and tried to re-sell it, they ended up taking it down, and 'settling' out of court....however it turns out, you can only force them to NOT sell the code....seems once printed, we have no legal right to sue, in the USA....so it seems anyway....

Getting wobbles and im guessing its from the rubber vibration mountings. do you think a compression mounting solution would be more suitable?

Mabe yes, wobbles is the bigest problem for multicopter videos.

Nice gimball, may ask what software did you use for animation and design? thanks!

alexmos

I think I didn't upload the good STL. I'll check that... Sorry

The support_mobius.STL does not have the cut out for the power button on the camera seen on the 3D rendered picture. Suppose to be so?

How much would some one charge to print me off this design?

Thank you - great design. Do you also have one for 22mm motors?

Hi,
I printed one. Thanks for the great design. There is only one problem. I can not access mobius button.
