Summary

Let's face it, most of us have enough computing power in our pocket to do 98% of our daily work. Recently I realized that most of the work I do is in the terminal these days with a bit of email. This means a tablet (iPad mini and my Nexus 4 phone in this case) loaded with iSSH would be the perfect lightweight travelling machine if only it had a decent keyboard.

I tried to find a keyboard for my iPad Mini that had a decent touch but they were all junk. Also, I find that I type better if I use the same keyboard for everything. The Apple bluetooth wireless keyboard is a personal favourite so I opted to created a little holder.

This one fits the iPad mini and the Nexus 4 phone in its upright position. This way I can tap out a long email on my phone if I need to as well.

Note: Nexus 4 + iPad mini is a pretty specific pairing so I created a version that's just for the ipad mini (basically just the same thing without the little notch.

I will award you 5 internet points for a model for Galaxy S4.

Will it still hold the iPad mini if using it on your lap? Also, is it big enough to hold the mini with a case?

cool! Could you do one for my galaxy note 10.1?

I could..... but I don't own one so testing it would be hard. I've included the Sketchuphttp://www.sketchup.com/) files here so it shouldn't be too hard to modify. You just want to make the groove as thick as the device (plus maybe 0.5mm for safety).

To do this just copy the cross-section shape (the end cap), modify it and then extrude it back to 10cm, or whatever length you want. like sohttps://dl.dropboxusercontent....
