Description

UPDATE!!!
All STL files are now being posted at bukobot.com

Buko is my idea of a new framework for the next generation of RepRap 3D Printers. 3D printers using this framework are called Bukobots.

- Easy to Build
- Easy to Expand or Upgrade
- Dual Extruder Option!
- Great Documentation
- Open Source
- Environmentally Friendly

Keeping true to open source, I'll be uploading Bukobot parts here little by litte as they are tested and finalized.

Instructions

Azteeg X1 Mount
- This is the Board mount for the awesome Azteeg X1 board (http://www.panucatt.com/azteeg_X1_reprap_3d_printer_controller_p/ax13dp.htm) that the Bukobots will be using. The OpenSCAD file has some variables to adjust for other boards.

Buko Nameplate
- These are the files I use to display the logo on the Bukobots

Z Coupler v1 & v2
This is the coupler used for the Z threaded rods

Thanks for posting the STL files.

Are you still planing on "keeping true to open source?"
I can't find your 3D files here or on your website

Wouldn't a vertical x-carriage be better to give more room for the extruder?

I thought about it, but with the way I designed the x-carriage it gives many options of what can be used as an extruder. I also wanted to use a little of the standard reprap style, so the rods are 50mm apart to fit most x-carriage designs. It also let's you use preexisting extruder designs and the weight on the vertical beams will be balanced instead of leaning forward or back.

Looking great there! I really like the crosspollination between:

Will it be a True RepRap? (That is, as in GPL == Welcome on RepRap frontpage?)
