An Earbud Spooler to keep your earbud cables neat and tangle free, designed to fit all sizes and styles of in-the-ear earbuds
This Earbud Cable Spooler is a rethink of thingiverse.com/thing:13678, and wraps the cord more easily in a way that results in a less bulky package which slips in and out of pockets and pocketbooks much more readily.
Furthermore, it's much easier to neatly end the cable using the rear slots.

Note:
There was an anomaly in the .stl previously uploaded which has been repaired in the current file (11/30/2012).
30% fill, 0 extra shells works fine.
Drop the earbuds in the recesses and start wrapping the cable by bringing it down and under the lip to the right, then up again, catching it in the right slot, then left and over the buds and down through the left slot. Hold the spooler and wrap the cable until the jack is close to the farthest hole it will reach. If it won't quite reach, unspool about a half turn, insert the jack, then roll the loose cable over the bottom lip, using one of the slots if it won't fit over the whole spool.

I keep having to make myself a new one of these, because I keep giving mine away to impressed friends and strangers.
Thanks for the feedback! I've uploaded a new .stl file that changes the plug holes to a more printable teardrop profile, and it's unnecessary to clean them out with a drill bit any longer.
